专利说明:
30 536 338 The locking post usually consists of a flat iron with high strength. According to prior art, the locking post can be fixed to the lock housing in various ways. For example, a reading post in the form of a flat iron can be fixed to the locking housing by means of screws which extend through the locking post and which are threadedly received in the wall portions of the locking housing which extend parallel to and along the locking post. In another example, the lock comprises a so-called post unit which consists of a flat iron and a U-beam which with its bottom side is fixed to the flat iron by means of, for example, rivets, screws or welding. The post unit can be fixed to the lock housing by means of screws extending through the wide sides of the lock housing and the side legs of the U-beam. EP1436475B1 gives an example of such a design. In modern locks of this type, where a high level of security is sought, the locking piston can be designed as a hook bolt which is pivotally mounted in the lock housing. In the locked position, the hook latch encloses a corresponding part of the end plate, whereby a very strong engagement between the lock and the end plate is achieved against breaking the door. Also with other piston types, such as linearly movable studs and also drop pistons, a relatively strong engagement between piston and end plate is achieved with modern locks and end plates. Although such a strong engagement between piston and end plate is of course often a safety brass advantage, it gives rise to increased requirements regarding safety and solidity of the other parts and components of the locking device. Brief description of the invention An object of the invention is therefore to provide an improved locking device comprising a reading housing and a locking post. Another object is to provide such a locking device which offers a high heel strength and improved safety. Another object is to provide such a locking device which exhibits a high resistance to breaking attempts. Yet another object is to provide such a locking device which exhibits a high resistance to deformation of the lock housing. Another object is to provide such a locking device with which the risk of the locking piston and / or the locking post being separated from the lock housing is reduced. Another object is to provide such a locking device which is simple and relatively inexpensive to manufacture. These and other objects are obtained with a locking device of the type stated in the preamble of claim 1 and which has the special features stated in the characterizing part of the claim. The locking device comprises a lock housing and a locking post. The lock housing is arranged for insert mounting in a door leaf and defines an inner space in which a number of locking components are accommodated. The locking post is fixed to the lock housing. In accordance with the invention, the locking post is fixed to a first reinforcing member which is accommodated in the inner space and which has means for fixing the reinforcing member to the door leaf. This essentially provides two advantages over the prior art. Since the locking post is fixed to the first reinforcing member, which in turn is fixable directly at the door leaf, a significantly improved retention of the locking post is achieved. Such secure holding of the locking post ensures that the locking piston does not become detached from the locking device in order in this way to allow the door to be broken when the piston is engaged with an end plate. In addition, the first reinforcing member constitutes a stiffening of the lock housing which prevents the lock housing from bending or otherwise deforming when the locked door is subjected to a breaking attempt. Modern locks and end plates provide a strong engagement between the piston and the end plate. A common way of trying to break open doors is to insert a breaking iron, such as a crowbar or the like, into the door slot between the door leaf and the frame piece provided with the end plate. When the breaker is applied a force in the direction of pressing the door leaf in the opening direction, the abutment between a side surface of the piston and the end plate will produce a rotating force on the lock housing. This force tends to bend the lock housing along a line extending through the lock housing, parallel to the locking post and just inside the locking post. In cases where the piston consists of a hook bolt which, in the locked position, extends through a locking piston opening in the locking post and is in hooked engagement with the end plate, a force also arises during the breaking attempt to pull the hook bolt in the direction out of the lock housing, through the locking piston opening . When the inner parts of the hook piston, which have a larger dimension is the locking piston opening, in such a pull-out, the locking post is pressed outwards, it may happen that the locking post fixation at the lock housing breaks, whereby the hook bolt comes loose from the lock housing and the door can be opened. Thanks to the first reinforcing means arranged in the lock housing according to the present invention, both of these disadvantages are counteracted in an efficient, safe, space-saving, simple and relatively inexpensive manner. The means for fixing the first reinforcing member to the door leaf may comprise a fixing heel accommodated in the first reinforcing member which is arranged in accordance with at least one corresponding opening in the lock housing for receiving a fixing member which can be accommodated by the first reinforcing member. the body and of the door leaf. This enables the use of a simple fixing member extending from the door leaf through at least one locking housing wall to the first reinforcing member. In this way, stable fixation is made possible in a simple manner by the reinforcing member being fixed in two parts of the door leaf arranging on either side of the lock housing. The locking device may comprise a fixing means which is designed to extend through the door leaf, the openings in the lock housing and the fixing holes of the reinforcing means. Hereby a single fixing means can be used to securely fix the first reinforcing means in the door leaf on either side of the lock housing. If the fixing means extends continuously through the door leaf, the fixing means can easily be mounted from the inside of the door leaf. The locking post can be fixed to the first fixing member by means of a screw which extends through the locking post and which is threadedly received in the first reinforcing member. This provides a simple and yet secure fixing of the locking post to the first reinforcing member. The first reinforcing member is suitably formed of metal. In this way a high strength is achieved of the first reinforcing member, which effectively counteracts both bending of the lock housing and that the locking post can be separated from the lock housing. The first reinforcing member is suitably solidly designed. This further increases the strength of the first reinforcing member. The first reinforcing means may extend a distance from the locking post into the inner space. In this way, a reinforcement of the lock housing is obtained in an effective manner precisely at the portions which during breaking attempts are subjected to large forces which strive to bend the lock housing about a line which extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the locking post. The locking post is suitably fixed to the first reinforcing member in the vicinity of a locking piston opening arranged in the locking post. This ensures the holding of the locking post at the locking housing just where the locking piston will press the locking post in the direction of the end plate in the event that a breaking attempt succeeds in destroying or deforming other means by which the locking piston is fixed to the locking housing. The locking post may further be fixed to a second reinforcing member which extends a distance from the locking post into the inner space. This provides a further reinforcement of the lock housing which counteracts bending of the lock housing. The second reinforcing member can be fixed to the lock housing by means of at least one projecting pin arranged at the second reinforcing member which engages with a corresponding recess in the lock housing. In this way, it is further prevented that the locking post is to be separated from the lock housing, for example in the event of a break-in attempt. The locking post may be fixed to a third reinforcing member which extends a distance from the locking post into the inner space. This provides an even better reinforcement of the lock housing which counteracts bending of the lock housing. In order to provide a secure locking device which is relatively easy to manufacture and mount, the lock housing may comprise two mutually opposite first wall portions which are arranged to extend in mounted position substantially parallel to the main plane of the door leaf. Each of the first two wall portions can then be arranged on a respective lock housing half, which lock housing halves are detachably joined together. The lock housing may further comprise a number of mutually opposite other wall portions extending between the first and second wall portions. The inner locking space can then be defined by the first and second wall portions. The locking post is then suitably fixed to at least one of the other wall portions which extend along the locking post. In order to offer a safe and strong engagement between the locking piston and the end plate, the locking device may comprise a hook piston which in a position projecting from the lock housing extends through a reading piston opening in the locking post. Further objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description and from the claims. Description of the invention Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the figures of which: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a part of a door leaf in which a locking device according to an embodiment of the invention is arranged. Fig. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of the locking device shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a perspective view corresponding to that of Fig. 2 and shows the same reading device with a lock housing half removed. Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the locking device shown in Figs. 1-3. Fig. 5 is a perspective view of three details included in the locking device shown in Figs. 1-4. Detailed Description of Embodiments Figs. 1-5 show a locking device 10 according to an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 1 illustrates how the locking device 10 is mounted by so-called insert mounting in a door ballad 1. The figure shows the door leaf 1 from its inside. At the door leaf 1, a door reinforcement accessory 2 is further fixed by means of four screws 2a. A handle 3 is by means of a handle rosette 4 fixed to the door leaf 1. A locking cylinder 5 extending through an opening in the door reinforcement accessory 2 is fixed by means of fixing screws (not shown) to the locking device 10. The locking device comprises a locking post 11 visible in Fig. 1, which is fixed in the usual manner to the door leaf by means of screws 12 which extend through the locking post and which are threadedly received in the door leaf 1. Referring now to all Figures 1-5, the locking device according to the invention is described in more detail below. The locking device 10 also comprises a lock housing 13. As can be seen most clearly from Fig. 4, the lock housing is formed by two lock housing halves 14, 15. One lock housing half 14 constitutes a so-called coffin bottom and has a first wall 14a which in mounted position is parallel to the main plane of the door leaf. The lock housing half 14 further comprises two pairs of parallel and mutually opposite other wall portions 14b, 14c, 14e, 14d. The second wall portions 14b-d are substantially perpendicular to the first wall 14a. The second lock housing half 15 constitutes a so-called casing lid and comprises a first wall parallel to and opposite the first wall 14a of the lock housing half 14. The second lock housing half further comprises a second wall portion 15b which is parallel to two of the second wall portions 14b and 14c of the lock housing half. the first lock housing halves 14. the wall portions 14b and 1Sb are arranged wrapped and abut against each other and form a double wall portion of the lock housing 13 facing the locking post 11. The two lock housing halves 14, 15 are formed in the usual manner by bent metal plates. The first 14a, 1sa and second 14b-e, 15b wall portions define an inner lock housing space in which a number of locking components are accommodated. In the exemplary embodiment shown, these locking components comprise a handle rowing unit 16, to which the handle 3 is connected and a cylinder rowing unit 17 to which the locking cylinder 5 shown in Fig. 1 and a corresponding locking cylinder (not shown) arranged on the outside of the door are connected. A locking piston, which in the example shown consists of a pivotable hook bolt 18, is rotatably fixed to the lock housing by means of a screw and sleeve connection 19a, 19b passing through the lock housing. The two first walls 14a, 15a of the lock housing have for this purpose corresponding through-going screw and sleeve openings 19c. The hook bolt is rotatably movable so that it can be rotated out through locking piston openings 22, 23, 24 which are accommodated in the two other wall portions 14b, 15b and in the locking post 11. The exemplary locking device further comprises a pair of tie rods or carriers 20a, 20b which are connected to the handlebar rowing unit 16 and to the hook bolt 18 for operating it. A drop piston 21 is arranged in the inner space and axially displaceable through drop piston openings which are accommodated in the two other wall portions 14b, 15b and in the locking post 11. The two other wall portions 14b and 15b which are arranged wrapped, parallel to and in at the locking post 11 have screw openings 25a, 2Sb, 26a, 26b which are arranged in pairs in line with each other and with corresponding screw openings 27a, 27b. 10 of the locking post 11. The locking post 11 is fixed to the locking housing 13 by means of fixing screws 28a, 28b which extend through the screw openings 27a, 26a, 25a, and 27b, 26b, 25b, respectively. In accordance with the invention, a first reinforcing member 30 is arranged in the inner space of the lock housing 13. The first reinforcing member 30 is generally L-shaped and has a first leg 31 and a second leg 32. The two legs 31, 32 are substantially perpendicular to each other and arranged parallel to the general distribution plane of the first walls 14a, 15a and the door leaf. The first leg 31 has a threaded screw hole 33 which extends parallel to the normal to the locking post 11 from the end of the first leg 31 facing the locking post 11, a distance into the first leg 31. The second leg 32 has a first continuous fixing hole 34 which extends parallel to the normal to the general plane of expansion of the first walls 14a, 15a and the door leaf 1. In the vicinity of the connection between the first 31 and the second leg 32, a second continuous fixing hole 35 is arranged, substantially parallel to the first fixing hole 34. The first reinforcing member 30 is formed as a piece of solid metal which in the example shown is made of steel. The first reinforcing member 31 further has a shape which is adapted to the other components of the locking device and their paths of movement. For example, a recess 32a is received in the second leg 32, which recess 32a is designed to receive a part of the hook bolt 18 and thus allow free movement of the hook bolt 18. The locking post 11 is fixed to the first reinforcing member 30 by means of a screw 36 which extends through a corresponding hole 36a in the locking post and corresponding openings through the second wall portions 14b, 15b and which is threadedly received in the screw hole 10. the first leg 31 of the first reinforcing member 31. The first reinforcing member 31 is in turn, when the locking device 10 is mounted on a door leaf 1, fixed directly to the door leaf 1. This fixing at the door leaf 1 is effected by means of a fixing means in the form of a fixing screw 60 extending through the door reinforcement accessory 2 on the inside of the door leaf, the door leaf 1, the two first walls 14a, 15a of the lock housing and the first fixing hole 34 of the first reinforcement member 30. The two first walls 14a, 15a of the lock housing 13 are provided with through openings 37 for this purpose. However, the fixing screw 60 is not accessible from the outside of the door leaf. The end of the fixing screw 60 which is arranged at the outside of the door leaf 1 is instead accommodated in a threaded sleeve-shaped part (not shown) by a door reinforcement accessory (not shown) arranged, which sleeve-shaped part projects into the door leaf 1. This provides a significant reinforcement of the lock housing 13 which prevents the lock housing from bending, for example around a line parallel to the lock post 11. With the first reinforcing member 30 a secure fixation of the lock post 11 is also achieved. that the screw sleeve connection 19a, 19b should break or deform, pulls the locking post with it so that both locking post 11 and hook latch 18 detach from the locking housing 13. The first reinforcing member 30 is also used to provide an improved cohesion of the first two walls 14a, 15a of the lock housing 13. For this purpose, a screw sleeve connection 38a, 38b is arranged at the lock housing. The screw sleeve connection 38a, 38b extends through intended openings 39a, 39b which are received in the two first walls 14a, 15a and through the second through-going fixing hole 35 which is received in the first reinforcing member 30. This provides a further improved resistance to deformation and cohesion of components of the lock housing 13. The locking device exemplifying in the figures further has a second reinforcing member 40. The second reinforcing member 40 is received in the inner space of the lock housing and fixed at its lower part, near the locking post 11. The second reinforcing member 40 is formed in a solid piece of metal which in the example shown is made of steel. The second reinforcing member 40 is generally cubic and has a threaded screw hole 41 which extends parallel to the normal to the locking post 11. The second reinforcing member 40 further has two projecting pins 42 which are arranged on opposite sides of the second reinforcing member 40 and which engage with corresponding openings 43 of the two first walls 14a, 15a of the reading housing 13. The reading post 11 is fixed to the second fixing member 40 by means of the locking screw 28b extending through the opening 27b in the locking post and the two openings 25b, 26b in the second wall portions 15b, 14b and which is threadedly received in the screw hole 41. Thanks to this screw connection and the engagement between the pins 42 and the openings 43, a further reinforcement of the fixing of the locking post 11 at the lock housing is provided. In addition, the second reinforcing member 40 constitutes a further stiffening of the lock housing 13 which counteracts bending and other deformation of the lock housing, for instance when the door leaf 1 is subjected to breaking attempts. A third reinforcing member 50 is accommodated in the inner space of the lock housing 13 and is arranged at the upper part of the lock housing, in the vicinity of the locking post 11. The third reinforcing member 50 is also solidly formed of metal, which in the example shown is made of steel. The third reinforcing member 50, like the second reinforcing member 40, has a threaded screw hole 51 extending parallel to the normal to the locking post 11. The locking post 11 is fixed to the third reinforcing member 50 by means of the screw 28a, which extends through the openings 27a, 26a, 25a and which is threadedly received in the screw hole 51. This provides a further improved fixation of the locking post 11 to the lock housing 13 since the thread engagement between the screw 28a and the screw hole 51 can be made substantially longer than if, as in the prior art, the screw 28a was only in threaded engagement with the holes 26a and 25a in the other wall portions 14b and 15b. In addition, a force which tends to pull the locking post 11 in the direction of its normal away from the lock housing is distributed over the relatively large contact surface which arises between the third reinforcing member 50 and the second wall portion 14b or 15b. Corresponding reinforcement is also provided at the second reinforcing member 40, in addition to the reinforcement provided by the engagement of the pins 42 with the openings 43 in the lock housing walls 14a, 15a. In addition to providing an improved fixation of the locking post to the lock housing, the third reinforcing member 50 also contributes to an increased rigidity of the lock housing. This stiffening further contributes to preventing the lock housing from bending or otherwise deforming, for example when the door leaf is subjected to a breaking attempt by means of a crowbar or another breaking tool which is inserted between the door leaf 1 and the frame piece provided with end plates. The fixing of the locking post 11 by means of screws 28a, 28b, 36 which are threadedly received in one or more of the first 30, second 40 and third reinforcement means further allows these screws to be designed with larger dimensions than has previously been possible or suitable. Also in this way a higher strength and thus safety is obtained with the locking device according to the invention. Exemplary embodiments of the invention have been described above. The invention is not limited to the description given but can be freely varied within the scope of the following claims. For example, instead of being provided with a hook bolt and a drop piston, the lock housing may comprise other types of pistons and combinations of pistons. Instead of the lock housing being formed of bent metal plates, it can be other types of components such as flat wall portions that are welded or otherwise joined. The reading housing can also consist of cast or otherwise preformed parts that have been joined together.
